How to apply for part-time/adult courses

It’s easy to embark on your learning journey with Derby College. Here’s a step-by-step guide.

Step 1 ⇣

Choose from our exciting range of courses – search this website for the course you are interested and use the apply now button on the courses page to send your application and arrange an interview

Step 2 ⇣

Talk through your options at the interview. For your convenience, interviews will take place throughout the summer at the various College campuses.

Step 3 ⇣

Your interview will include an online screening assessment. This will confirm that the course of your choice is actually the right level for you. (Not all courses, such as short courses, require a screening assessment.)
