Who is this course for?
This course is for practising gas engineers who need to retake their ACS assessments This course enables you to maintain competent skills levels and retain your Gas Safe registration – essential to allow you to practise in this area. A short recapping training session will be done before assessments are completed.
Entry Requirements
You should have existing certificates which need to be renewed.
What will you learn?
The course covers CCN1 and Appliances as required. Some training will be given over 2/3 days and then the assessment completed in the remainder of the week. A short revision workbook will be given to all candidates which should be completed prior to attending for reassessment.
How will you learn?
This course will be delivered on-site.
What will you need to bring with you?
We advise that candidates purchase or have access to the most recent BPEC training book (This can be supplied upon request).
How will you be assessed?
The course is assessed on 50% theory and 50% practical work in the gas assessment centre. Criteria for the assessment will vary depending upon the area’s required. This is a highly regulated area which has strict competence requirements.
Where next?
You should continue to maintain your Gas Safe registrations for the assessments covered for at least another 5 years.
