Course Information for Students

Who is this course for?

The aim of this course is to enable both the beginner and the more advanced writer to develop their writing skills in a variety of different areas – including playwriting, writing for TV and film, poetry, short story writing, and guidance on the structural planning of a full-length novel. 

Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements. 

What will you learn?

Students will be offered support and feedback on their work throughout the course, which will involve a variety of stimuli and exercises to encourage the exploration and development of each student’s individual writing skills, and offer new insights and approaches into their work.

Sessions will also include looking at the current writing market, including opportunities for new writers, and how to submit work for publication or performance.
