Floristry Taster – March
This course will help you to understand the different constructions used when making floral designs. You will be informed about how to prepare your materials before commencing a design. You will also be instructed on how to make two different types of designs during the session.

Who is this course for?
The designs will be demonstrated in a step-by-step format. You will construct the designs yourself, with help, support and feedback given throughout.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements.
A keen interest in floristry and a creative mind would be an advantage, but not essential.
What will you learn?
The course will cover:
•Care of cut materials
•Identification of flowers and foliage
•How to prepare materials for use
•How to construct two different types of floral designs

What will you need to bring with you?
You will be required to supply your own:
•Closed-toe flat shoes
•Apron or tabard
•Writing materials
How will you be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course, although feedback will be given throughout the session.
