Course Information for Students

This course will be mainly practically based but will include some theory to consolidate your learning of the subject. You will be taught to a Level 2 standard.

This course is aimed at learners wishing to gain an introduction to the construction and techniques of creating commercially viable funeral designs.

There is no formal entry requirement.

The course will cover:

  • Design, styles and techniques
  • Construction methods
  • Care and transportation
  • Identification and knowledge of materials
  • Costing

You will learn on-site 

You will be required to supply your own:

Flowers, foliage and sundry items
Writing materials
Scissors
Apron
Secateurs

There are no formal assessments to complete. However, producing a portfolio to document your progression and development of the subject is mandatory.
