What qualification will my apprentice gain?

What will the assessment look like?

The apprentice will work with an assessor, with 20% of the programme spent on off-the-job training as they work towards the knowledge and behaviours for completion of the end-point assessment. This will consist of a:

  • Two-hour written exam with a combination of short and extended answer questions
  • Retail business project
  • Professional discussion – one-hour structured meeting

Will my apprentice need to come into college?

The assessments will take place in the workplace. However, there may be a requirement to attend a different location to complete the end-point assessment.

Is there any specialist equipment required?

You will need to provide your apprentice with any PPE required to legally and safely undertake their role.

What progression can my apprentice expect after completion of their apprenticeship?

The apprentice could progress to a Level 5 qualification or move into management or customer service.
