Course Information for Students

This qualification is aimed at individuals who are interested in working within the logistics sector, in particular within a warehousing environment.

The qualification covers the underpinning knowledge requirements to be able to store and receive goods appropriately, as well as exploring how to process and dispatch orders. The principles of effective customer service as well as an understanding of key health and safety legislation are also essential elements of this qualification.

There are no entry requirements to access this programme, other than you must be working in a role where you have responsibility for day-to-day warehouse logistics within your organisation.

1. Warehousing and Storage Principles

  • Understand how to receive and store goods and materials
  • Understand how to process orders and dispatch goods
  • Understand how to deliver effective customer service
  • Understand health, safety, security and legislation
  • Understand how to be an effective team worker
