T Level Foundation Programme in Digital
Are you interested in studying for one of the new Level 3 T Levels in Digital Production, Design and Development or in Digital Support - but not quite sure you are ready? Do you learn better in a predominantly classroom/workshop-based environment? The aim of the T Level Transition Foundation programme is to prepare you to progress to and succeed on your chosen T Level route.

Who is this course for?
Are you interested in studying for one of the new Level 3 T Levels in Digital Production, Design and Development or in Digital Support – but not quite sure you are ready?
Do you learn better in a predominantly classroom/workshop-based environment?
The aim of the T Level Transition Foundation programme is to prepare you to progress to and succeed on your chosen T Level route.
Entry Requirements
You need four GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, to include either Maths or English.
Providing you meet all the other entry requirements, if you have achieved a grade 3 in either GCSE Maths or English, you will have the option to re-sit as part of your study programme.
What will you learn?
Diagnostic period: Taster sessions for the Digital T Level route(s)
English and Maths: Dependent on GCSE grades achieved
Work experience and work-related learning: You will develop the skills, behaviours, attitude and confidence that you will need for the Level 3 T Level.
Introductory technical skills: You will develop introductory technical skills in relation to the Digital Production, Design and Development T Level core components. These will be based on the following digital-related topics:
- Business Context
- Culture
- Data
- Digital Analysis
- Digital Environments
- Diversity and Inclusion
- Learning
- Legislation
- Security
- Testing
- Tools
How will you learn?
This course will be delivered on-site.
What will you need to bring with you?

How will you be assessed?
You will be assessed through:
- Work-related learning projects
- Modules – introductory units of work based around the digital content
- Theory-based and practical workshops
