Who is this course for?
This is a four-week 50 guided learning hour course (12.5 hours per week) for those working towards securing employment.
The course aims to support learners through the transition into employment, including promoting confidence, improving IT skills and addressing all aspects of moving towards employment.
Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements for this course.
What will you learn?
The course comprises job search skills, applications, interview techniques and tutorials to support job search strategies. In addition, it covers basic IT for employment. Additionally there are sessions on confidence to build self-esteem and resilience.
How will you learn?
This course will be delivered on-site.
What will you need to bring with you?
There are no additional costs and no specialist equipment is required.
How will you be assessed?
Individual personalised targets are set and agreed and your progress will be measured against these through an evidence-based portfolio.
