Re-brand project success

Digital Multimedia Students at Derby College Group’s Joseph Wright Centre have designed new logos for the Ed Tech and Libraries for Learning teams.

Media students collect their prizes from teachers

The Level 3 Creative Media Production and Technology students were invited to pitch their logo ideas for the competition organised by TLA Lead Mark Dickson and Advanced Practitioner Catherine Guerrero and the winners have been announced.

Lucia Hardy received a WACOM One Graphics tablet and runner up Sophie Buglione was presented £30 gift voucher from Amazon.

Catherine Guerrero said: “This has been a fantastic opportunity for the students to work on a live client brief. The work they have produced will not only function within the College’s wider community it will also enhance their portfolios for future endeavours.”

Mark Dickson added: “I would personally like to thank everyone involved. The students should be so proud of themselves – they made choosing the final designs really tough. They have shown professionalism and creativity throughout and the final designs are a great way for us to launch the new teams.”
