About Us

Welcome to the Derby College equestrian centre website, we are very excited about the developments to our riding centre and have grown considerably in what we can offer to the equestrian industry. As well as excellent training for full and part time HE and FE courses, we also run competitions, elite training from industry professionals, short courses, riding lessons and adult riding camps.

We also have an increasing number of Apprentices who pursue a work-based qualification with us. Find out more about Apprenticeships

Short Courses in Riding and Stable Management

Whether you are a leisure rider, a horse owner or trying to enhance your equestrian knowledge round another job, we have short courses which run in the evenings and at weekends to suit you. These Include:

Getting to the Derby College Equestrian Centre

Within easy reach of the M1, M42 and M6 motorways and Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire equine catchment, we strive to provide professional standards, first class facilities and a friendly welcome to the equestrian community.

Please note Derby College has several campuses. The postcode for Derby College Equestrian Centre is DE7 6DN. The Equestrian Centre has its own driveway indicated with a green and white sign, access cannot be gained via the main Broomfield Hall Driveway.
